Bowl of Delight
No more millet odor!
Stays moist and sticky even when cooled

Bowl of Delight adds 16 varieties of Japan’s domestic millet to Onizaki’s Gold sesame.

Many millet rice products have a distinct odor and a slightly funny taste. This is because they use brown rice germinated with chemicals. Onizaki uses brown rice germinated without chemicals in order to suppress the odor, as well as other means. We therefore recommend this to those who dislike the odor of millet rice products.

The distinct richness of flavor and sweetness in gold sesame is present. When finished cooking, the rice is a light pink and the millet gives colorful hints of yellow (gold sesame, proso millet), bright green (black soybean, blue soybean, etc.) and purple (black rice).

There is no feel of lumpiness from the beans. Even when cooled, it doesn’t dry up but maintains its moist texture. One idea is to make the rice into rice balls to take in your lunch box. This product refreshes the image of millet rice with an original look and taste.

How to cook:

Scoop out two cups of rice into the rice cooker and add the usual amount of water. Add one pack of Bowl of Delight (20g) and lightly stir before cooking.

You can adjust the amount of water and millet as well as the cooking time to your liking.
