Ingredients (4 Servings)
- 2 eggplants
- 3 green peppers
- 200g ground pork

- 1/2 onion, finely chopped
- 1 clove garlic, finely chopped
- 1 branch ginger root, finely chopped

- 1 tsp. dou ban jiang
- 2 tbsp. Onizaki’s Pure White Sesame Seed Oil

- 3 tbsp. soy sauce
- 3 tbsp. water
- 1 tbsp. sake (rice wine)
- Pinch of sugar

- 1 tsp. potato starch
- 2 tsp. water
----------------------------------------
Cooking Directions
- Cut off the stem of the eggplant and roughly slice the eggplant into chunks. Place in water. Remove the stem and seeds of the green pepper and cut into bite-sized pieces.
- Mix the ingredients in A and B together.
- Heat White Sesame Seed Oil in a wok, add the contents of 2. And dou ban jiang and quickly stir-fry.
- When the ingredients become fragrant, add the ground pork and quickly stir-fry. After the pork is well separated, add green pepper and eggplant and stir-fry.
- Once 4. Has blended in, turn heat to low. Mix potato starch with water in C and add while continuing to stir. Wait until the sauce has thickened and turn off the heat.
- As a finishing touch, add White Sesame Seed Oil to taste and some Roasted Sesame (White) and serve in a dish.
